1. How do I create an account?

Go to http://www.badonlinedates.com/account/login and fill out the sign up form. All you need is your name and your email address.

2. I forgot my password.

Go here and enter the email address you signed up with. We’ll send you a link allowing you to claim your account.

3. How do I change my password?

Log in here and then go to the change password page.

4. How do I add a photo to my profile?

After you login, from the main page or your profile page, select “edit my pictures”. Hit the “browse” button and then select the photo file on your computer you would like to upload. Hit upload and the photo will appear. From this page, you can also select your default photo and delete photos you no longer want to display.

5. I can’t log in.

If you can’t remember your password, follow the directions above to recover your password. If you're still are having issues, email support@badonlinedates.com.

6. How do I change my personal information?

Log in, and then from your profile page, “edit profile” to change your name and location, or “edit answers” to change your personal info.

7. How do I contact other members?

If two members are mutual friends (as in, both of them have added each other as friends), you’ll see a “send a private message” link underneath their profile image. Click that to send them a message. If you like, you can leave them a comment asking for an add, so that they can private message you.

8. How do I delete my account?

Email support@badonlinedates.com to delete your account.

9. Is BadOnlineDates.com free?

Yes, it’s totally free!

10. How do I share my bad date story?

Once you are logged in, from your profile or the home page, click “add a bad date story” and get to writing!

11. How do I search for other members using their bad date stories?

Use the search box on the front page or the search page and enter in things that have annoyed you in the past to see other members that dislike the same thing.

12. How do I comment on a bad date story?

When viewing someone’s post (you can find the most recent posts on the front page), if you are logged in, you’ll see a “add a comment” at the bottom of the page.

13. How many profiles can I have?

Just the one. How many of you are there?

14. What can I do if I know a profile is fake, or is set up just to send spam? How do I report inappropriate behavior or abuse?

Email support@badonlinedates.com to get it taken care of. Be sure to include the profile URL of the offending user.

15. What is the minimum age of members?

Our terms of use states that you must be 13 years of age at the least.

16. How do I view my profile online without logging in to BadOnlineDates.com? Is there a unique URL address for my profile?

Yes, there is. When you log in, click “view my profile”. The URL that you are sent to is your permanent profile URL.
